Sorry if this is the wrong place .

Can anyone please provide me with the link to see the Premiere Leagues FPP or whatever it’s called rules ?

Want to give it to someone I know in the US who loves Soccer .

Tonda interview with the Athletic (paywall bypass required)

Great read. Love this quote:

“I feel comfortable dealing with numbers and data, but I also know that data is never going to replace a good pair of eyes.”

That's a quote from a man after my heart :emoticon-0115-inlov

Also love the quote in the headline.

Non paywall version here - https://archive.is/20260424043118/h...24/tonda-eckert-interview-southampton-fa-cup/

Really good interview with him. Below is Tom’s link ‘cleaned’ ;)

Edit: Libby beat me to it. He obviously reads quicker than me.

The full podcast is quite interesting. He's quite honest

I think he's right in that he says the players had been heavily coached in Russell's style of play over a sustained period of time, so when he came in and tried to loosen things up and ask players to think and act for themselves, it shouldn't have been surprising to him that many of them defaulted back to doing what Russell would tell them to do. And as Still didn't coach them tightly enough to have alternative approaches, it was common that they'd just be defaulting back to the old way of doing things

From the comments the players have made about Eckert regarding him giving them more direction and clarifying things, he obviously came in and said 'not like that, like this' rather than just asking the players to make the most of freedoms afforded to them to do things their own way

As a result, Still would've damaged his credibility with the group as they would've felt he didn't know what he actually wanted or how to make things happen, and once that happens with a dressing room, it is pretty much impossible to turn it around

Birthday today so spent some time going through loads of old stuff my old dear had.

Among other things I came across a ticket for the Steaua Bucharest home leg. Reckon it's now the oldest ticket I've got :)
Happy Birthday!

It is also my dog's 17th birthday today! Have you been for a birthday walk today like him <laugh>
