I think a lot depends how we do over the next 6 weeks.

I think it's notable during Tonda's run of 7 without a win 4 of those games were against the top 6 (plus another being Brum away) and we're about to have a similar run of games.

So I think this run of games will answer a lot of questions. Are we flat track bullies or genuinely one of the best sides in the league? Has Tonda's main success been improving the morale of a very good squad to be very good against lower sides or is he having a lot of success tactically?
Agreed, let's see how Ipswich, Coventry, Norwich and Wrexham go before deciding for next season as we have been functional in recent weeks but now we need to see how we perform against rivals.

Saints are being sued by their former catering partner Gather & Gather, which claims it is owed over £3.2m in unpaid amounts. Frustated with the service, Saints terminated G&G's contract early in 2025. But they dispute the total owed and want to settle amicably.

Is it a coincidence that on the eve of a major fixture the Press come up with a scandal story to rock the boat? I don't use the Catering but my experience, was that the people around me that did, had been moaning about the quality, cost and size of the portions, so it was little surprise that the Club went for a change. Recently I have seen more people buying what is on offer so it may be better

GAG, not a great acronym for a catering contractor...

Clearly they are talking about having it in the EFL and we have a lot more experience of having it in games which most of the 72 don’t. It is just a matter of time before it comes in imo, hopefully they have learnt from the PL about what not to do when it does come

Yeah it's just weird that we voted to keep it last season in PL but now are apparently voicing concerns against it.

I agree it's sadly inevitable in the championship. Hopefully we go down in the next couple of seasons.

This will rule out that midweek for Ipswich, anyhow. So presumably that midweek will be Wrexham, with Ipswich the midweek before maybe?

Won't be the week before, Ipswich are playing on Easter Monday and then the Saturday lunchtime.
