So no assistant manager in the traditional sense, just 3 assistant coaches.

Makes sense I guess, seeing as Tonda isn't a manager himself.

There's very little which I'm ITK about when it comes to professional football, but what I do know something amount about is when it comes to Pulis and those who have worked with him. Garner was part of his coaching staff at Palace and WBA. And it's safe to say that I've never heard a good word about Garner. By all accounts he was a suck up to Pulis, but generally not a nice person who had no time for his fellow colleagues. Very much saw himself as being better than them. The successful managerial career which he was hoping to have in the future really didn't turn out well.

Of course people can change, so maybe he is different these days.

Interesting, thanks for that; tallies up with Charlton fans taking the utter piss out of us on social media.

Whilst I didn't expect him to be quite so good after leaving, it was pretty clear he was our only CB that was anything close to PL standard. Head and shoulders above the likes of Stephens.
Exactly. Which is why I don't blame him for not sticking around a second time in the Championship. He deserved his move and pleased it's working out for him.

Was asked a question in the pub earlier so thought I would share

Who are the top ten players with the most PL (only PL for all the oldies) Saints appearances?

I rattled off the first 5 or so pretty quick, but took me awhile to get the rest, if you look it up and answer then congrats
