In other news (not strictly related to Saints) it looks like the Kingsland Tavern will be closing.

Massive shame that. Only pub on that side of the ground which is closer than town.
Nooo, that's such a shame. Lots of good/ faded memories were made there.
As already mentioned, I guess the Fan Zone didn't help.

Probably a bit of a stupid question but can you only buy extra tickets for home games if you are a member or they get to general sale? What I mean is can you not buy extra tickets now as a season ticket holder?

Not sure exactly what you're asking but it's limited to one per membership I believed.

Like many others the club are clearly trying to eliminate the whole general sale concept and make it so you have to buy membership to buy tickets.

As far as I am aware, as a STH, you can buy extra tickets but only after the members window has closed and the tickets are on general sale.

Yeh, basically what you have both confirmed. I have a season ticket so if I want to buy an extra ticket for the Wrexham game I would have to wait until the members have had first dibs and then they go on general sale :emoticon-0148-yes:

I slightly misunderstood but if I remember rightly season ticket additional had their own window prior to general sale last season.

Well once we actually started doing general sale anyway.

Ah, OK, cheers :emoticon-0148-yes:

Will keep an eye out then as it still says members only on the OS and can't find anywhere where it says the general sale window starts.....

Think they're hoping it sells our to members. As I say many clubs are moving away from general sale and want fans to have to purchase membership to buy tickets.

I'm sure within a season or two those with digital tickets will only be able to transfer to people with memberships.

Its frustrating they won't even give a date for general sale. They could at least give a sale date for GS, even if they don't think it'll make it; but then they're trying to encourage people into buying a membership, so it's all part of their sales game I suspect. Utter bollocks.

It pisses me off, yet I've (probably stupidly) bought a membership, so I'm a tad hypocritical here but I was thinking of the Pompey game. I'm keeping a nervous eye on sales as I'm hoping to go with a mate who doesn't have a membership; of course, if the availability gets too low and there aren't many seats left, I'll just grab one and he'll have to forget it <laugh>

When I bought my tickets a few days ago there weren't many left, so I think if it does make general sale it will be for a couple of hundred max.

And yeah, no chance of pompey unless you have a membership, that's the main reason I didn't hesitate before buying one. If your mate wants to go to that he may as well just buy one now.

Still over 3k left yet for Wrexham; I won't blink just yet, but keeping a close eye, but I agree, there probably won't be many getting to GS for Wrexham and absolutely not for the derby <laugh>

I wonder if they might make an extra window for the skates game and link it with another match?

Sure when I bought one for 11/12 I ended up buying a ticket for another game too as that was the first priority window.

Would've thought the Stoke game would have been part of that if they were going to do so?

I wondered this too. If they are bastards they'll do it with a game they know will have a low attendance. If they want to do it fairly they'd do it for supporters that have attended any other home game.

If they type in 'opponents goal,' will they get directions to follow to arrive in the right area?
