I watched it. It wasn't as bad as the hysteria is making out. It also wasn't hugely insightful, just a bog standard fan forum. Not so much 'I've been a fan for 40 years...' as normal, except for one chap who was a self-proclaimed technophobe who doesn't own a phone, complaining about the Puma giveaway competitions being on the app rather than the club website
Main things I took from it were: RM being non-committal on the goalkeeping position and saying he is happy to wait to land his preferred targets rather than just adding bodies in positions where we need players, Parsons trying to get a train station at St. Mary's and working very closely with the council and pushing back on one of the complaints about food prices/drink prices etc and Stephens saying that the dressing room is very different now, does a lot of self-policing and people (unnamed) have been pushed aside by the dressing room because they can't show enough professionalism, the right attitude, the right personality within the group.
Mainly just moaning about Adam Blackmore making it about himself than actually asking the fans there questions.
Saw a short clip on Twitter of Adam Blackmore saying something like this to Stephens: "...but let's hope you're not at left back." And Martin leant forward and said: "Yeah because that went so terribly last season" in what seemed to me like a sarcastic and annoyed response.
I get the impression he's not a massive fan of Blackmore. He was a bit frosty with him in some of the post-match interviews last season.
Tbf to Blackmore I think he now sees the club as other fans do and sometimes exhibits the same frustrations we do!
Side issue….how useless was the change from twitter to X. Everyone still says twitter and tweet….and whenever X is mentioned there is the tagline (formerly known as twitter). Like formerly known as Prince.

A lot will say the 7 second goal, but his goal against Villa (Mane fastest hatrick match) was a great goal.
That goal at Anfield, surely. Probably one of the greatest Saints moments, let alone just Shane Long's.
I don’t really see the point in fans forums. They can’t answer questions honestly as they’ll give too much away.
Just seems a massive waste of time really. I’m not sure why fans expect more info to be revealed
I was listening to Talk Sport yesterday morning and Jeff Stelling not only predicted we would finish highest out of the 3 promoted team but also said we would be the biggest over achiever and finish 4th bottom!
Isn’t he a bit of a closet Saints fan? Seem to recall him saying he goes to a fair few games due to living close to the ground and he’s good mates with MLT
Seems far too positive to be an actual Saints fan though
He definitely did live in the local area as I refereed his son once in Winchester. I assume he still lives in the area.
If finishing 17th is overachieving, then that says everything really.
