It might be that Grealish hasn't been picked because of what he's got up to in previous off seasons, and when he ignored lockdown measures (although so did Kyle Walker and he's in).

I'm not completely sold on Grealish though. Foden is several years younger and a much better prospect playing a similar role, in my opinion.

The defence and midfield look poor to me. How has Coady not been picked yet?

There are at least 6 English CBs left out of this squad that are better than Mings (most are better than Keane too):

Coady (How on earth he hasn’t been in an England squad is beyond me)
Tarkowski
Mee
O’Connell
Basham
Dunk

Hell i’m not even sure Mings is a better CB than Stephens.

You can see how it happens. Player thinks he has a better chance of playing international football for the Republic or some other country, so starts playing at youth level, before he realises he could play for his country of birth. He qualified through his grandparents, so his parents are English....as is he. Anyway the ROI can't complain....they have just lifted a youngster from the Northern Ireland team.
 
Djenepo gas been spotted in training today, Obafemi was pictured with a fan the other day. It's looking apparent that Redmond is the player who was a systematic with Covid 19.
 
I have mentioned before about the delusion of Villa fans up here in the Midlands, on talkSport today, a furious Villa fans about Grielish’s omission from the England squad, after his initial rant he turned his attention to JWP asking why he was even considered for a call up as he wasn’t good enough to play for Villa let alone England
Priceless!

We haven't been able to get rid of any of our expenisve deadwood once again. Selling PEH covered KWP and Salisu. Not sure we'll be buying any others until we can get rid of some. It must be a frustrating position to be in year after year.
