I shouldn't laugh in this situation but that's a brilliant analogy <laugh>

Couldn't agree more too, had a little look through the comments earlier and and was a depressing read. Sad situation with no winners.

^^^This

It may be true, it may be false. It may be a little true. But, there is always more than one side to a story and life is in general grey*

*Not in my house as Amazon delivered the hair dye yesterday.

EDIT: However if true there is no real defence may I add.

Fair point, I don't even use Twitter it was just sent to me and thought it might be of interest. If there's anything in it I'm sure it will be in the papers by Sunday.

Sorry, forgot it was you that posted it originally, so no offence intended, but these things take on a life of their own and people start stating their condemnation of it “if there’s any truth in it” and the **** starts to stick even though it could be wholly malicious

You’ll never catch me on social media <laugh>

So what is this Valery thing? The link @Libby posted doesn’t work.

Judging by the comments I assume he has eaten a baby?

Someone has made an allegation that he spiked her with an abortion pill when she was 20 weeks gone. The baby died not long after birth due to this allegedly.

Oh, was expecting worse.

Sounds like bollocks, why not just pay a bit of cash and never see the kid like a normal person would do? Not like he can’t afford it

Careful everyone. Don't be too hasty to judge. You have only heard one person's version of events.

And there was I hoping life would be better after all this covid **** dies down!
Oh well.

I just had a heart warming call from one of the disabled guys I see at St Mary's. It was difficult to understand all of it but the gist of the call was that he is missing seeing all his friends at football and he hopes everyone is being sensible and staying at home. I asked him if he was missing the matches and his answer was "Not much of the football because we usually loose, but I miss the chips and hot dog."

I reminded him that since we last saw each other, Saints haven't lost a match so at least that is something to be happy about. I gathered he wasn't all that impressed by that but he did say he thought Saints would be winning all their remaining matches "Because the players have had a nice long rest". Made my day that has.

The chips and hotdog made me think of a young man, with learning difficulties, I used to care for in the Leicester area.
His family are fans of egg chasing, so every Saturday he would be watching his brother play.
One weekend there was no rugby, so I suggested taking him to the King Power stadium.
He showed a passing interest in the game, and the crowd, although the loud cheers sometimes made him jump, but he totally lost interest when someone else in the wheelchair enclosure turned up with a foot long hotdog.
Game was over for him. All he did was watch the lad eat the hotdog, saying that he wanted one, which he got at half time.
Priorities are different for all of us, I guess.
