Can't be short enough for me....due to my inability to turn right as I fall off if I take my right hand off the handlebars. Journeys become problematic with that eensy problem. My left turns in contrast are legendary. <laugh>

This morning I have had my new pedals fitted to my bike. This means cycling shoes and cleats... I may also be looking for left hand turns only from now on.

We kinda painted Ronald into a corner. It wasn't totally one way.
Just saying........
Agreed. We know the kind of quality we had in the squad in 2014-15. It was arguably as strong a squad as Saints have ever had. Certainly the strongest in terms of the Premier League. And I think Ronald went to Les Reed and said it was time to make the step up. And just like all successful Saints managers who mysteriously depart, he was told that this was Southampton and we don't do things that way. Which meant that it wasn't going to get any better. And typically, as soon as you place an absolute limit on the ambition, everyone with more than the club demonstrates disappears. I'm not sure Ronald Koeman is a brilliant manager, but he was excellent for Saints. And furthermore, high quality players wanted to come and play for him. That was half the battle won right there.

I also wouldn't pin this solely on Les (although I'm sure Kat & Co had tightened the purse strings immeasurably by then!). RK had one year remaining, and said he would see it out. The board didn't like the idea of him walking away, and the turmoil that comes with it, so chose to push him instead......into the arms of £6M a year Everton.
I can see both sides on this one......which is unusual for me!

My initial point was more about not getting too emotionally invested into a Manager again, I'm fully prepared for Ralph to be headhunted by a bigger club one day and then the day that he leaves will not be quite as much as a shock and feel like a bit of a betrayal after two years of constant positive PR on twitter towards the fans.
I'm completely over Ronald now and can take all the enjoyment and positive experiences from his time here and thank him for that.
