Why hesketh dropped down league, despite performing well in league one, is a mystery to me.

Per Clough at Burton, we tried to squeeze a loan fee out of them, and when they wouldn't/couldn't pay it, we sent him to MK Dons instead. So he dropped down a league because we prioritized what cannot have been more than a five-figure sum over having him face higher-calibre opposition, which is a bit odd.

Sums our board up doesn't it. Prioritising a small income over a players development.

He was also out playing right wing at Burton, so not his best position. Now playing around the central midfield and not a lot of difference between top of League Two and middle of League One.

It's fine him being at MK. Good set up and good football. Clough is just a whinging knob.... glad we did for Bramall Lane :)

Given that his future is probably in an advanced role, gaining some role flexibility is probably a necessary element for his development. Seems to be playing wide for MK Dons a fair amount of the time, as well.

Southampton talking about their plans for the women's team....currently 11 games unbeaten. The club failed to get them into the top league...not surprisingly really as the team has only been going for a couple of years....so we are 4 promotions away. It's no wonder we are doing well as we have better facilities and investment than most teams we play against. However, I don't think it can do us any harm to gain experience by playing and winning against a variety of teams rather than possibly struggle against teams that have had massive investment for years.
