Rickie is like that first love you can never quite forget.
He's more like your third or forth love who you actually settle down with, only to love them that little bit too much and in the end. You slowly drift apart with no animosity or ill feeling. You then find it hard to see him go back to his first love even though you and he both know that was a mistake too and he wasn't really happy there, longing to have never left you in the first place, yet still knowing it wouldn't have been right to stay.
