I do think that fans need to stop tacking on the end of last season to Sparky's stats. He came in to a situation where the whole squad was totally demoralised and had a pretty tough fixture list to negotiate. Going into the last few matches I had us at about a 20% chance of staying up and couldn't see where we would get the mental strength for the two wins that were a must to stand any chance.
This season was always a clean slate for me, with new players to bed in and a full pre-season and we have played less than ten league games and are still in the EFL Cup. Obviously if we are still only picking up an average of .66 of a point every match by Xmas then the situation needs to be reviewed.

Victor Moses said to be looking to move on from Chelsea.
Would be worth a shout in January, as wide right or wing back.
Not sure if we are big enough, but then he played for Hughes at Stoke, and seemed to have held him in high esteem, citing him as the reason for going there on loan. Still only 27, or thereabouts, I believe.

The EFL will make a decision on whether to go ahead with Leicester City's cup match on Tuesday.

The Foxes are due to play Southampton at the King Power stadium in the Carabao Cup last-16 next week.
