I was living in Wigan then, but made the trip down for that match. Great evening.. “Bring on United,” was the chant that night I believe.

We then were at home to United, before drawing at Anfield. I was there for those too.

I was also at that match....travelled down with 9 work mates who are all Liverpool fans....took some stick on the way down but I was gobby all the way home

I had a people carrier then and took 6 Liverpool season ticket holder to the Anfield draw... hilarious journies!

Funnily enough, I found an old program from a game I played in back in the late 80s/early 90s to show a customer as he olyed for he opponents.... my lad pointed out that the referee in that non-league game was Graham Poll from Tring. The very same.

And I believe they are selling the seats to go in Bristol City’s new stadium as we are allowed to stand in the Division we will be playing in.
