Apparently Sam Gallagher is set to sign a new contract with Saints. I'm pleased to hear that.
He's been through some tough times since his last appearances in the PL for us. Its been great to hear he's done well in his loan and would love to see him back and breaking through for us.
Brilliant to see any youth product in the first team but there is an added excitement when it's a striker. Not saying he will defintely make it but it's good we will give him a shot

Wilson says that we only really recruit from Europe and feel no need to extend scouting further overseas. H sees football becoming more arduous requiring fitter and fitter players, but there is also a greater need for intelligent players.

So far only the details for the Brentford game have been released....surely the other preseason games must be known as well. I know they were arranged in Puel's time, but no reason for them not to happen surely.

- Does sound clear...if Pellegrino joined us on the basis of the team we have, we should stick to it. I presume Jay will be in the category of players allowed to go because it suits Saints and the player. Reed says he can't make it clearer...for some fans, he may have to promise to sacrifice his wife and children.
