33 years ago on this day we beat Coventry as well as 5 years ago. That one was 8-2 at the Dell & I was there :)

We were 2-0 up at half time. We had so many chances in the second half, that even though we scored six, my mate who was with me said "Saints should have run riot in the second half". I saw him for the first time in about 25 years recently and reminded him of his stupid statement :)

If you're interested the scorers were David Armstrong, a Steve Moran and a Danny Wallace hat trick, and Frank Worthington finished it off with a rare header :)

You should see the ones on Facebook. Cretins the lot of them. I like Puel and quite frankly people who says things like that are not fans.

As for Jays dad. Less said the better.

Oh don't get me started on the Facebook fans. I shudder at the very thought.

Puel doesn't have the charm of Poch or Koeman (and look at what they did). I would like to see us play in a more exciting manner (as we have done in previous seasons), but we have had good results this season and a Cup Final....plus some good results in the Europa. And he has had to deal with major injuries to important players. Hardly a sackable season....some fans forget we aren't ManU.....we can't moan because we aren't in the CL spots. I would describe myself as supportive rather than a wild fan, but I want to see him have a proper season....his players and a good preseason. Why would anyone want Saints to lose?

I do think we're making encouraging movements back to the more exciting mannger, recently, but again, it got hampered when Gabbi got injured.

I was there too!!! Remember it so well. I think we beat Spuds 5-0 the following week :)

You are correct!

Where were you standing - I was in the Milton Road end just to the right of the goal post (as you look at it from the pitch) at the front (my usual spot). This also happens to be the same spot that Kevin Keegan fell though once in a game and was treated for about 5 mins with the crowd inches from him :) Can't remember the game though.
