See people are moaning in the press about no concessions for season ticket renewals. I don't get it....the prices haven't gone up, so what difference does it make. It will be ongoing now with all season tickets costing the same in future seasons I expect, so there may be a theoretical loss then....but so what in the scheme of things. They've introduced more cheap tickets for kids....the next generation....which is an excellent move.

Some people will always whinge. I am a grumpy old git that pays top whack to see the Saints. I could go for almost a third of the price if I sat in a corner in the Gods but then I would see naff all. I would also probably deny someone with a tight budget the chance for a cheap seat. So I am happy where I am. I always thought it was a bit naughty charging new season ticket holders more than existing ones. Football fans really are a strange bunch. Mean as hell with their own money but ready to spend every last penny and more of the owner's money.

I caught part of a very long ad on the TV last week. What caught my eye were the handful of Saints "players" running past - I had to pause and rewind as I wasn't sure that I'd seen right, but I had. Turned out to be an ad for Virgin Media :D
You mean this one.? Spot the Saints players. Probably actors in the kit. Impressive advert visuals.

Actually one of my favourite lines ever from Trigger is when they're discussing what Del & Raquel's baby might be called and Trigger says "If it's a boy they're going to call it Rodney after Dave here"

One of my favourite Trigger lines is when they are discussing the time when, as a child, he banged his head on a "Mind your head" sign, at school.
When asked if he hadn't seen it, his reply (more or less), was "Of course I saw it, but in those days I couldn't read".

I used to look to NewsNow to provide feeds to stories associated with the Saints but all it is full of these days is click bait and blogs written by kids who just cut and paste stories from elsewhere.

Still no announcement on Arsenal & United games?

Come on Saints, I want to see if I'm working or if I can swap shifts for at least one of them! <steam>

Bloody hell, LL. This rotation thing has gone too far. Has Claude told you where you would be playing? Maybe he's going to get all of the younger supporters a game before the end of the season. Younger, I said. Put those boots away, FLT.

I might manage 5 minutes at the end with my fitness <yikes>

What's happening with this getting rid of the offside rule? :bandit:

It's nothing to do with Saints. I'm on the other side of the coin for one of those games and both clubs are still waiting for the Premier League...

Is it something to do with them trying to get permission from UEFA to play in a European week?

Just frustrating and I had thought they said this week?
