If it came to it (and not saying the above is any credible source to say it will) then I'd have a crack at Graham Potter. Any manager that is deemed to be at a higher level than that is unfortunately not going to come to Saints.

The media nowadays is absolutely total bollox. Take a minutia rumour or just make some absolute ****e of 2+2=5 to make a story / headline. And that includes every news worthy item be it sport, politics, people, etc. Social media fuels the crap as well. As a society we are overloaded with stories that are either crap, we distrust or we are fooled by. I always put the bbc up on a bit of a pedestal but the’ve totally blown that out of the water in the last few years.

I’m fairly confident that if Ralph does leave in the coming months then Howe will be his replacement.

I’d usually say we would go abroad and pick someone relatively unknown to UK fans, but it seems we have gone more UK based in recent times with our recruitment (Matt Crocker and ties to FA maybe) so I’d say a safe bet would be a UK manager

I do not want to see Ralph go. Yes his selections seem strange and his tactics at times baffling, but I actually believe he is trying to go beyond just getting results and create a model which can stand up to life in the PL and offer the supporters a greater feeling of success more often than previously. I understand though that the pressure to 'do something' will build if we come out of the next few matches with little to show for our efforts. That's life especially in football. Could I just say that none of the names mentioned earlier are likely to make any more progress than at present, so let's just hope we turn the good performances we show most weeks, into actual points!

To see Alan Pardew 3rd favourite after Howe and Lampard reinforces my view that RH is the man for us. There's something about him that fits the club.

Yes, I did see that coming. Hopefully it will be just a fine as he's not been charged before. Mind you it's been nearly 2 weeks since the game - they took their time charging him.

A bit strong being charged for telling the truth and repeating what a large majority of fans and some press pundits thought and said? Seems like belated nepotism to me, but what do I know, I am too biased perhaps.

If managers start going round telling the truth then who knows where it will end...

We'll be expecting referees to explain their decisions, whatever next?

The var officials absolutely should have to do that now after each game. No reason at all they shouldn't when they've had the benefits of replays to make their decision.

just broadcast the conversation between VAR and referee like in rugby and so much would be fixed

Some sort of review procedure held publicly would be a great idea, and it might help improve consistency in decisions as well.
