Do kinda get the feeling it's all about to fall apart. Could potentially lose Ralph, Ings and Vesty this summer.
Vesty is on us. No one rated him, now he’s proved himself he doesn’t have any real loyalty to us. Just IMO. Yep I am grumpy
Plus, a cup win this season, European tour and relegation next, followed by the var-less Championship the season after sounds pretty damn good to me
I might be missing something here but what is all this negativity about? Ralph is here and he ain't going to be going anywhere, especially to a poisoned chalice like Chelsea. Vestergaard is injured and has been playing out of his skin. Danny Ings and Ryan Bertrand have yet to sign new contracts. Just because it's a bit quiet on the news front coming from the club it doesn't mean that the team is falling apart and loads of players are looking to move, or that a wealthy club can just walk in and take our manager. Who gives a flying **** what the **** media dream up, or what the so called 'experts' think. It's just click-bait cheap stories that mean absolutely nothing. The more we get behind the team and the more we value and appreciate what Saints are doing, the more settled everyone is. Saints are doing great so let us all enjoy what is happening and look forward for even better and brighter days ahead. Save the doom and gloom for when a nuclear war breaks out.
I bet a nuclear war breaks out when we are top of the league with a few games to go. Saints never have any luck
You can’t any more. Something changed a few months back, either on the Xenforo platform on which this forum sits, or on FB itself. My money’s on FB, which seems to update itself on a weekly basis.
He was playing for his local boys team when Lawrie went to watch (an Eastleigh team, I believe). Lawrie allegedly spoke before the game and told him he’d buy Steve a new pair of boots if he scored a hatrick that match... he did, possibly more from memory and apparently Steve was waiting outside the Boot shop the following day before it was opened. Lawrie duly turned up and bought him a new pair of boots. That’s what I was told when I was about 10 or 11 years old by the Big Man himself on a tour of The Dell. Always stuck with me. I even remember looking round the pitch the one time we played an Eastleigh team in a friendly match in case Lawrie was watching (because that’s what you think happens when you’re a kid). I even remember that game now and if Lawrie was there that day, he shouldn’t have let the 13-0 defeat stop him buying me some new boots!! bloody Eastleigh Eagles
