Has any Saints player gone from zero to hero as dramatically as Big Vester has? A couple of months ago fans were queuing up to drive him up to Leicester and now we are all celebrating the fact that he has pulled out of the Danish squad. I'll readily admit that I got it wrong but I think that Ralph has tinkered his tactics to accomodate him also and he now looks very comfortable on the ball with a good range of passing, long may it continue.

Until the next time he turns with the speed of an oil tanker or dwells too long on the ball. :emoticon-0105-wink:

I tend to take a leaf out of Nigel Adkins’ book, with regards to most things Saints.
Never get too high and never get too low. It’s less painful.

Hands up....I was one who wanted him gone, but he seized his chance to turn his form around and prove many of us wrong.

Yes - me too. I think Ralph :emoticon-0115-inlov has worked his magic with him and taught him to read the game better, so he doesn’t need speed (thank god) to cover. Long may it continue and when fans are allowed back, please don’t get straight on any player’s back because they make a mistake!

Jack Stephens last season was a similar story. And now he’s the scapegoat again.

Jonathan Forte

0-2 down, 'why on earth are we bringing him on?'

2-2 'I LOVE Jonatan Forte'

A few days later - 'I suppose they were just two lucky tap ins, he's probably not that good after all'

Of course if the current top 3 fail, when we win we will go back to the TOP OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE
We would need to beat Wolves by 6 goals to even stand a chance. Even then we need a draw between Liverpool and Leicester. If one of those sides win we can't go top when we play Wolves.

My son’s first away trip ever (aged 5 or 6).... they were above us in the league for this game.
