Just caught up with a 2017 interview between MLT and Gary Neville. Missed it the first time. Interesting. Liked the fact that Stuart Grey told an unfit Matty that he would be on the pitch at the final whistle for the last game at the Dell because of all that he had done for Saints.

Absolutely nobody would have called this. And those who were worried were obviously wrong to be negative init. ****ing shambles tbh. Unlucky those who've spent 50 notes on a shirt lol.
We're a premier league football club, sure someone will be happy to take it on. Hardly a loss if they don't have the money anyway.
Was always something dodgy about them, but losing any money is difficult at the moment. Sponsorship may not be that easy in the present climate either.
Good point about the current climate and I suspect it'll be considerably less. Only ourselves to blame though as you alluded to, this was always likely to happen.
Virgin media still sponsor the woman's team and the mens arms, so one would assume they might step in ...
Funnily enough re this seasons shirt, I think I may have been living in a box but I didn’t realise you couldn’t apply that £35 to this seasons shirts. Nice bit of bad faith from the club to supporters there. Absolutely piss poor imo.
Are break clauses standard in shirt soonsorship deals does anyone know? I wouldn't have thought so but don't pretend to be an expert.
you've not bought 2 shirts? Did you steal last years and this years? this message was sponsored by Chianti

https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2020-08-16/training-gallery-southampton-football-club-academy Interesting that the likes of Chriatoph Klarer, Dan N'Lundulu and Will Ferry returned to training with the u23s and not the first team. As well as coach Craig Fleming.
Although I haven’t got a scooby, the economic situation in China has been deteriorating rapidly in the last three years or so.... the break clause might show that LD Sports (if they do exist) were being very financially cautious?
