While some of it is paper loss owing to amortization, it's still nearly impossible to register an operating loss (excluding player trading) as large as we pulled off in the modern era unless you're going for broke. Which we aren't, we're just going broke, somehow. Man, we're bad at this.

Hmmm ..... something a tad fishy here. As a retired Financial Director and Management Accountant, I’d love to ask them quite why the Cost of Sales is 115% of Sales. The auditors should be digging into those figures as it makes no sense. :emoticon-0126-nerd::emoticon-0112-wonde

Just musing, I'm so impressed how RH has motivated the team, the skills improvement getting the ball under control and the seemingly telepathic link up play reminds me of my midfield general playing heyday for Brockenhurst third team versus Tatchbury Mount but I was wondering if anyone thought that any of the players currently out on loan would improve enough if they were to come back and benefit from Ralph's coaching?.......

.........thought not!

Watching a bit of the Fulham game and Harrison Reed has been really good. My Fulham fan neighbour told me he’s their best player when he’s fit.

An interesting decision to be made with him, he’s probably our quickest midfielder and has been really good defensively this year. If he wasn’t our loanee and we were linked with him as the best player of a promotion chasing team, we’d probably be happy with paying 10-15 mil for him.

I could also see us selling to Fulham or any of the promoted teams if the management and scouting team feel like they could spend the funds somewhere else on a better player.

Reed is terrier like. He chases everywhere and closes down really well and doesn’t give up. Gets stuck in with tackles, but seems too easy to brush off in a stand up situation, like trying to block a run in the box.

He’s like Tom defending a referee’s decision, but despite all the chasing around and facts, just isn’t quite strong enough, but for some reason he’s been around a long time and I like him. :)
