We were young and foolish, it was the early 80s, both starting our nurse training in a strange place (well, Chichester). To be fair he's had to cope more times over the decades with Saints being in the ascendency and does so with mostly good grace, even been to St Marys with me a couple of times. My visit to Notarfkrap was more of a terror filled afternoon for us both though. So yes, not a typical Pompey bore.
Sad news to share this morning. Justin Gladdis, aka the voice of the St Mary’s PA system, has suddenly died. Justin underwent major surgery this summer and seemed to be making a recovery before his sudden death. Just last week he was tweeting how proud and honoured he was to have been confirmed as the voice of St. Mary’s for a 19th season. RIP, Justin
That was timely....was just thinking we need a Rickie Lambert at the other end if we intend to ship goals.
Last chance to enter the competition for 5 hospitality places for the Bournemouth game. Not sure who I'd take...except it won't be DTLW. He promised to take me if he won a competition....he did, then didn't. An elephant never forgets.
Thanks Fran, I forgot about that. I have entered and am 100% sure I will win. I will add you as one of my 5
He’s been a good servant. He had an excellent season under Puel and despite not always hitting best form, he puts his body on the line for the team.
