Think yourself lucky you are not a Man Utd fan. Their fans complain about how far they have to travel for a home game
Charlie, if you want to be noticed, knuckle down, get fitter and let your feet do the talking. That hair cut is ridiculous.

If there's one thing I'd love to do it's do a decent job in Cornwall. Some people lose their heart in San Francisco. I think I left mine in Cornwall. And every time I go back I leave it there again. It's really odd because it has some **** weather. My head says Meze or Pezenas, in the South of France. But my heart says the North Cornwall coast. Anywhere along there would do me. I bet Paul Wotton is chuffed to bits.
You have the Cornwall bug too, have you? I think it's borne of childhood holiday memories, but there is an indefinable magic about the place. Devon and Dorset have a wee bit about them too, but Cornwall has it in spades. I would like someone to try to explain it adequately to me, because I've tried to figure it out and failed. Btw, once you get that far South and West I'm fine with Marazion and Mousehole too. But I'll meet you in St Ives for Fish and Chips.
They do an unbelievable fish pie in the Sloop, they put about 4 types of fish in it, and the mash topping is made with cheese and chillies!

I agree with you but to be fair to have two teams on a Friday night that are only 35 miles apart isn't that bad - I get it that not all fans are local, but it is better than say Sheffield Utd etc. EDIT: And to move the Man U game back a few hours is ridiculous. Although I can't go anyway, they should have moved it forward a day to the Sunday, so I could have a nice birthday treat instead of our 4-0 win being old news.
I liked that first article. Very important to offer support to released lads at 18.... never had that in my day, just a “no thanks” and “goodbye” Good move by the club.
