Great read. Jeez he ticks all the boxes, really does. Sounds the perfect fit for us. I’ve no doubt some bigger club will be after him at some stage but gotta feeling when he eventually goes, he’ll be leaving on good terms with all of us & certainly not for a while.

I would love to know what the Iran defence thought it was doing for Japan’s first goal.
Five players ignoring the fact that the ball was still in play, running towards the ref to complain about a dive, presumably, whilst the Japanese player they were complaining about, keeps the ball in play and measures the perfect cross, which was duly headed in.
Totally unprofessional.
