In 2009 I had the privilege of attending the funeral of Harry Patch, who at the time of his death was the last surviving combat veteran of the First World War. He was 111 when he died, and was the third-oldest living person in the world at the time. Just imagine how he must have felt Godders!
http://sportwitness.co.uk/southampt...s-15-year-old-prodigy-decision-expected-soon/ Sorry if previously reported as I have been away, but here is a strange story where we thought we had placed a young prospect with one French side and paid them to look after him, but the player has gone to Montpellier instead. The issue may be taken up with the French authorities.
Will never forget being sat at the hospital and getting a text saying '2-1. Pelle overhead kick'. Still not sure I believe him now sometimes

I think the "Black Box" has broken down for the last season or two so a HoS is essential to take a fresh look
I note (from the Monday Morning Briefing on OS) that Chelsea tickets remain on general sale....guess people aren't that eager to pay to be made miserable. So much more convenient to be close to the whisky bottle when the goals go in. I am doing well in my 'conscious uncoupling' (to cite Gwyneth 'Nutjob' Paltrow) as it is hard to be that disappointed any more by Saints. Might feel differently if I sat in the stands.
Only be worth expanding if we actually were any good. We have proven in the past that we can sell out St Marys when we are doing well. Like all clubs attendances and performance are closely linked. There will be a hardcore that will go every week but to sell out the team has to be performing. I'm sure we even sold out a fair few games in the Championship and at the back end of the League One season.
That is even less likely now that more income comes from other sources than from tickets. And now, a bigger stadium would just mean more unsold tickets.
Was I the only one who enjoyed the rant by @thereisonlyoneno7 last night? I was hoping the Swansea tosser was actually going to show up Made a lot of good points though imo. please log in to view this image
You weren’t the only one, but any talk of the matter is likely to result in an instant ban. If it was a permanent one I may be tempted...
