    Put this in the match thread but really belongs in here

    Sad thing is I was talking to a guy that helps run Southampton ladies. He said Saints had big plans to pump some money into them next season and have games at St Mary's etc. But with relegation it will all be scrapped

    That is sad. People talk about players leaving etc, but truth be told it will be the little guys who get laid off and will suffer. They may well hold onto players and hope for a quick promotion and they have contracts anyway, but plans will already be in place to reduce ordinary staff. :(

    Was looking back on this just out of curiosity and thought I might share it, there's no point to it but it does make you wonder what has changed so dramatically at the club at board level since then...



    His prediction for the way the PL was heading at the end is fascinating, as it turned out, that season was like the Peasant's Revolt in 1389, after it was over the top dogs just got richer and more powerful and the poor peasants were worse off than ever!
