I put that on another thread, but I can't see how Hughes can be looking at anyone when he is on a short contract and doesn't know what is to happen. Now Saints may have the player on their shopping list, but that's a different matter.....and will depend on the fates of the 2 clubs.
Dangerous move if you ask me, not many Saints fans are happy with his effort and performances and no doubt will delight in telling him so

I was working in Essex y'day & it seems most Spammers are fairly pessimistic but hopeful, if they perform, they'll be ok. I'm concerned the media bashing of their lil holiday trip, means there's no chance they will give anything other than 100% & we'll definitely have to be on our toes from the off. They were all pissed off Chaz was potentially back.
http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/sa...ester_just_days_before_the_FA_Cup_semi_final/ Our Leicester match is now the Thursday before the Cup match.
The FA thought this was the fairest date because Chelsea are also playing that night, away to Burnley. Hopefully Willian and Hazard will suffer minor knocks.
yup, i'm sure sure the fact chelsea have a full squad of internationals and a billion youth players and we can barely put together a starting 11 wont at all make one team better able to cope with this tighter schedule than the other.
Especially as they could be out of top 4 running by then... Surely we had a say? We should have said no to that date if we did. Our chances in the semi take a huge hit now imo.
More concerned about the Leicester game. We can't afford for players to be careful....this game, WHU and Swansea are the ones we have the best chance of winning. Hope Hughes tells them that he will select the players for the Cup game based on their performance in this one.
From the OS, it looks like the decision was made by the Premier League without consultation, although we and Leicester must have agreed you would think. https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018...eicester-city-southampton-premier-league-1718
The FA are **** but they can’t start making decisions based on squad sizes. Both clubs have a game, so fair enough.
That week looks a bit of a mess really, and I notice there's no objection to spurs having an extra days rest than united? Feel sorry for burnley who have now had a game moved from Saturday to Sunday which is already on sale.
