I must be getting old but this elf on a shelf thing has been the least funny fad that has started on the internet recently
I'm even older....never heard of it, but have to say that anything that makes anyone smile these days is a good thing. Just wonder why our elf has to look half-crazed...think he must have been watching too many Saints matches. :)

That is quite amazing, a really good in depth article that shows the lengths the club are prepared to go to get the details right. So much to take from that, but one of the best things for me was drawing on the experience of the music academy to help young footballers perform at their highest potential in front of crowds, which is an aspect of football most of us take for granted. Thanks for posting that DTLW, a great read.

Initial implies there is a chance of more tickets.....however, Saints aren't as brave at taking up tickets as they used to be...presumably don't want to risk being stuck with any spares.

It would be poor to not even take what they have to give us per competition rules though for an away cup tie in London at a normal ko time.

I agree though that it implies there should be more available.... Also starting at a very low threshold too which tells me they want to gauge interest quite quickly.

It is the first weekend of the New Year. Not everyone will be prioritising their cash for football. I don’t think it is necessarily poor if we don’t take a lot really.

While that's all true it's a traditionally well attended fixture and we've got a good tie at a popular ground we don't visit every year which is fairly local and well priced.

I'd say it's poor if the club don't take the 15% we're entitled too. Hopefully there are more anyway as it does say 'initial' and like I've said they've started it at a very low threshold.

Let's face it, we're definitely going to draw 1-1, so they are just saving for the replay :-)
