Stoke seem to be having injury problems with their defence....had 4 out for the game on Saturday and another limped off. Let's hope that they take their time recovering. :)

Talking of defenders...someone on Saintsweb mentioned that Hoedt had a knee injury. Anyone know anything about this? Might be the chance that benchwarmer Virgil has been waiting for, but hope nothing serious.

He seemed to land awkwardly during the second half, but seemed to have run it off. Plus I thought he hurt his foot or ankle so maybe not related.

Did anyone here go to Brighton in the championship?

How bad is the train journey back to Brighton from Falmer? I'd like to have a beer or two but read (and can see) it can be a nightmare with everyone travelling back in the same direction.

It is Southern, they never seem to take in the fact that events produce more people and seem to stick to their regular 4 car trains, irrespective of how many want to travel.

You should have seen the train I shared as far as Westbury with a few hundred travelling Swansea fans. Absolutely jam-packed, including one young man lying in the luggage rack! They were quite polite to me in my Saints shirt, including one puzzled chap who asked me if I was English!
