I now have this image in my head of the "Major" at Fawlty Towers.
Black still there then.......rumours of him being disruptive around the club that was reported on TSW couldn't have been true then.
Probably as true as the rumours that the Players demanded that he was popular and should be retained?
Saints don't believe in complete changes of staff when the new manager comes in...prefer to have continuity. So each new manager gets a mix of old and new.
That was when they learnt their lesson.Then how do explain the change from Nigel to Pinocchio.?

Likewise, I didn't know they were different things. VM are innocent enough. Faintly ethical too. At least we aren't openly promoting McDonalds or a gambling company. I see enough of Ray Winstone with his faux hard gambling man act to make me want to reach, so all-in-all it's a good thing. One thing I would expect Saints NOT to be doing is promoting things like 'Eat at Joe's'. I believe one of the Championship teams had 'Just Eat' emblazoned on their shirts a couple of seasons ago. Awful example being set there. Enough people do not need encouragement.
