Saints fan keen on trip to the Boro, things you never expect to read. This is a nailed on away win just like Hull. Oh!
We must take advantage of the 'easier' games. Everything is so close now that winning these games could put us in a very tolerable position at the end of the season. Remember when we'd have been grateful to be above 18th (even by GD), but now we expect top 10....and realistically we can hope to be 7th or above. May not happen this season with all its ups and downs (and a very nice up in the shape of a cup final), but lets hope for a good finish....especially against those teams around us.
Just a steady run in to the end of the season would do, no serious injuries, no take over dramas, no mass exodus. No we are Saints, we like a good meltdown.
Be nice to have a quiet summer, wouldn't it? Perhaps the odd worry about more sun cream or a hosepipe ban, but other than that...nowt.
A few clubs financial accounts being released this past month, anyone know when saints usually release theirs?
Got to laugh transfer tavern saying two players southampton fans cant wait to see the back of. Now it does not look like they reseach anything as it says for some reason Pied has hardly featured since his move from Nice. I wonder why could it be he is injured? The other player by the way is Gardos
I think it may be time to offload him too. I have nothing against him and wish him well but it has been two years now and it's unlikely he will ever get to a level where he is good enough for a top 7 team, which is what we are aiming to be. And Pied needs to be given a chance. In the same way we gave Gardos over 2 years to prove himself, Pied deserves a chance too
This, He just isn't going to get int he squad now, He is under Stephens who is ever growing.. Not to mention When McCarthy returns.
