A Saint related questions for you.

There was an international game a few years ago where the goalkeepers playing for their respective countries were Saints team mates.

who were the two players and their countries?

Feel free to add your own quiz question

Yep. I couldn't put the year because that would've given it away not that it would've mattered how quickly you got it lol. It was Niemi and Jones

Sorry to have blown your thread somewhat. :D

Let me think of a quiz question then..?

Last week, Saints were in the media a lot, and on the Monday Night Club, Saints had Dave Armstrong on the programme. In it, Motty said that in the Runners-up season, Saints had 5 former England Captains on the pitch during the odd game during the season. Was he right, or how many were there really..?

EDIT: Ah..! I've just had a call and might have to go out. I'll pass the answer to Qwerty. If he gets the question right he's cheated.

If he gets if wrong, then I've gooched it. :D

I'll say 2 former or current England Captains...Shilton & Mills and 1 future England Captain....Wright.

You are correct. The answer is 2. Wright doesn't count, but I can't blame you for trying to cover every exit. :)

If I left people hanging around it was because, 1] I had to go away and do a bit of work, and 2] nobody was attempting a guess, and I can't sit around all day waiting. Ta.

I'm going to say...

Ted Bates, Terry Paine, Mick Channon, Matt Le Tissier, Kelvin Davis and Adam Lallana.

Can't believe there are only 6. I feel like I could have thought of more. It's probable that there are quite a few who have made nearly 200. Jimmy Gabriel, for example. Shall have to look that up. Morgan must be close, for example. And Rickie can't be too far away either.

You've made it more difficult for yourself than it actually is TSS..:)..It's Premier League Saints' appearances only, ie 1992/93 to 2004-05 and 2012-13 to 2013-14 inclusive.
