Hi all come in peace. Obviously us saints fans want to beat you next due to poch. I'm curious if you are confident?

Also I notice you are playing beskitas on Thursday which will be tough so would you sacrifice a result on Thursday to be in better condition on Sunday or go for it Thursday and risk the match against saints knowing you have time to catch up?

Glad you're confident, Dona!

It'll be interesting to see how Pochettino approaches the ties. The home game against Besiktas is one that we really need to win, but he might rotate heavily again anyway.
Given Southampton's start to the season, they'll be confident and they'll also be out for a bit of revenge and proving themselves over their old manager.
We'll need to play well to guarantee the three points and we'll need strong team.

Just need to get to the 65th minute when Poch's plan B doesn't kick in, easy three points. Hope Thursday causes him lots of problems, just to ease things along.

That worked out brilliantly for Forest, didn't it?
Made a double substitution in the 65th minute, switched from 4-2-3-1 to 4-4-2 and both players that came on scored, as it went from a loss to a win.
Either he's learned a lot in a few weeks or this strange criticism of him doesn't have much substance.

To be fair to Southampton, their playing some cracking football at a fast pace compared to our slow methodical build up.

I can see this being another tight game but with a few goals scored, similar to both games last season.

Forest B team are well known world beaters......right? <laugh>

Completely irrelevant. Your claim is that he doesn't have a Plan B. That doesn't appear to be the case.

Come on Levy, you know it makes sense. Just a little early.

Levy certainly likes to change managers. He's never sacked someone who's just got the club promoted twice back-to-back, though.
We'd have to somehow end up in the third tier for the to happen, admittedly.

We are all keen to put one over on MP and last season we did tend to dominate possession and play the pressing game but often with no end product. Should have won more games than we did. I'm sure he's learnt from that but Koeman has the players flying at present. Should be a cracker.

He doesn't really have a plan B. In the PL, his subs rarely changed the game. Koeman is so much better at this and his half time team talks work better.

Potch is alright, handicapped by not having any strikers, how come everyone could see that coming except the dof,who buys the players?

He may not have had a Plan B as Southampton, but that doesn't appear to be the case at Spurs. He's not even using the same personnel or tactics consistently.

As for Koeman, I can understand Saints fans liking the guy, but he's literally managed eight games for you. A little early to be hailing him as the messiah.

Europe shouldn't affect us for the weekend as we'll play 2 totally different teams.

I'm not confident about beating Saints regardless though as despite a decent result at the Emirates we're still not on form.

TBH as good as Saints are playing, who have they beaten this season?
West Ham- so did we
Newcastle- in disarray
Swansea- good result but against 10 men
QPR- so did we

Of course they also beat Arsenal in the cup but that is because we were praying for them to do so; so thanks.
