I don't think he will leave soon, but like Oxo, if he eventually wants to go and we can get decent money for him, it just doesn't make sense to keep him.

Well he's had a couple of seasons in the big time, but if he'd stayed at Saints he'd have played in almost every game. Mind you, we may not have flown up the leagues with him. Nothing is guaranteed. I think it worked out best for Saints in the end.
Probably not. On one level, possibly...he has friends here and would have enjoyed our progress. But on the other hand, he is playing (sometimes) at a big club who are in Europe, is on top money, working in London, and no doubt having a great time.

Supposedly Chelsea are interested in him, speaking of them KDB didn't make the squad again today, and there are loads of rumours that he is on his way out. Would be a great signing for us
Chelsea just buy people so other teams can't buy them. They don't need all the midfielders they have.
We desperately need another goalie...a loanee in January and a more considered decision in the summer. Such a hard position to fill...you want an excellent second GK but they want to play.
From watching him with Ireland I wouldnt be overly fussed...He is quick and tricky but is so frustrating..Has very little end product and the ball rarely beats the first defender when crossing
I remember him from Celtic and have rarely (maybe two matches) watched him since he moved to Russia. I had the impression he wreaks havoc on the wings and is a constant threat. Maybe he's not as good in the national team, it's known to happen.
If we got him fairly cheap then it would be worth the risk...He is a real worker so he would fit into the system fairly well...Has never played in a top league which would be a worry though. People over here seem to think it's a sure thing he is off to Everton
As i've said before, his contract runs out in the summer so we could take him on a free then, or pay some small fee in the january transfer window.
