I do understand the point you're making, just think that if the decision has been made (and we do not know yet that it has) then there's no point dragging it out and it won't benefit anyone.

And equally, I understand the point you're making it. It is a difficult one.

That said though, making a decision over sacking a manager is only half of the equation. You also need to make a decision over the replacement (and, as Everton are finding with Silva, then manage to secure that replacement). That, we might not have done yet. Would we have sacked Adkins a week or more earlier, had things been secured with Poch behind the scenes earlier?

I don't have a problem with a caretaker being put in charge. The issue is that the December fixture list is so inflated, as usual, that that is a lot of work for a caretaker to take on.

I wonder what the new owners are thinking ?

This is one thing I've been thinking about.

Could well be that he overrules Les and steps in to make a decision.

One thing for certain is if (when imo) we're in the bottom 3 at the end of the year his arse will certainly be twitching at the prospect of his £180m investment almost halving.
