He’s been a major disappointment and has been found out at the top level. To slow, and positional play is dreadful. He will leave as he thinks he is way better than he really is. As he’s English, we will probably be able to get most if not all of our money back so a win win really.
Think Bednarek will leave as well as ABK this summer, so with the 3 youngsters and Stephens, I think we will possibly look at another more experienced CB, maybe on loan as the loan system is going to be crucial as we are going to have a big player turnover this summer.

I just can't see any club paying 20m for THB. He's a solid Champ-level defender and still very young for that position.

He might come across as a bit daft in his interviews sometimes, but at least he says something. Most of the squad seem to just shy away from speaking out. None of the actual leader-types (Stephens, Downes, Bednarek) have said anything.

Yeah I don't know what happens with THB. I am pretty sure he wants to leave, but like you said, I don't see who will pay much more than we paid for him.

There is no way we sell for anything less than £20m, and I'd think given, his age and contract situation, we would actually expect north of £30m.

It's just very rare for a CB to reach the top level at his age.

Harry Maguire was playing for Hull in the Championship. Van Dijk for Celtic, etc.

Wood is a downgrade. Sanda not even close, Edwards has the best potential but still early days.

If Bednarek leaves, we must try to keep THB, imo.

Yeah I'm not saying I don't think he will become a great player (he already is for the championship). I don't buy into the "too slow" crap or any of that.

I just don't see anyone paying what we want for him.
