Excellent...if the lads are polite, can concentrate, be articulate and take personal responsibility, they will be ahead of half the population. They will also be employable should football not be their future.
Haven't heard of the author, but I would have read his books if I was younger. Loved books about young sportsmen in my youth.....sadly it was always about boys....girls didn't get a look in then.

Important match for the U23s as they are near the drop zone. I know the official stance is that winning isn't everything, but I don't think they envisaged us playing in a lower league. Had a few draws recently....need 3 points tonight.
Even for Saints that was a slow announcement....we knew weeks ago.
Notice that announcement only mentions him being here for certain until the end of the season....presume we wouldn't have done that unless we intend to offer him a contract after that.
