I'm well impressed with Sam G's skills. He can trap a ball further than I can kick it... Simms is L1 at best also, but Hesketh and Mugabe look good, naturally so does Reed.
It looked like stage fright to me, they only really started playing any football after they went 2 goals down, that's disappointing.
I know it's important for football development to try different positions, but Gallagher out wide is frankly ridiculous. He had a bad game anyway and his confidence is shot, but at least play him in his favoured role. Especially when we're pumping long balls towards the diminutive Seager. Perhaps playing 4-2-3-1 no matter what is a bad idea for the u21s. I think at this form of development it's important that players can adapt to different formations and a 4-4-2 would have suited the personnel better.
