Not Lallana either. He’s retired and isn’t a player you immediately think of when you say PL winner. He’s got a league cup too for a different team!

Nathan Dyer was in loan to Leicester when they won the PL.

Yep! Nathan Dyer it is! No idea why he was there but when Lancashire came off in the second half he came over and sat in the stand next to Nathan and they chatted away.

This does feel like a great crop of youngsters.
2015 was the last academy team to win anything’”, which was the u21 premier league cup with players like Gallagher, Hesketh, McCarthy, Sims, McQueen & Gape who except for some with injuries have built careers in league football.

obviously we hope for a little more than that from this bunch, but from the results, looks like a few them have long term futures in the game

Ryan Finnigan has joined League Two Crewe Alexandra on loan until the end of the season.
It is always a shame when we build up a winning Under 21 Squad, we always spilit it up, sending players far and wide to gain experience. At least we have a few Under 18's ready to step up.

 

That's a weird one, and a huge drop in quality, considering he's been making our bench in recent weeks.

You'd think someone making a bench in the PL would be better standard than L2.
