Tonight's match against Dinamo Zagreb is an opportunity for a real competitive game for the U23s. The opposition is expected to be a bit strong for us....especially if we play several younger players, so a good challenge in a cup we haven't entered before. Valuable experience.
 
Good goal from gallagher, thought he was unlucky to have the 1st cleared off the line but wasn't missing that one.

I think the commentator is muddled about our numbers 5 & 6, Klarer is the blonde haired 6, Tom O'Connor 5. He is getting it right now, it is wrong on the team sheet.

Enjoyable first half. Saints look the better side, though Zagreb stepped it up a bit towards the end....without causing any real danger. Zgreb should take notice of the ref or they'll end up with some cards....or perhaps give away a penalty [HASHTAG]#hopefulface[/HASHTAG]

He’s looked quite decent, prepared to turn and run with the ball, and Hesketh should have done better with the chance from Gallagher’s pass.
