Brentford FC@BrentfordFC Full-Time at Jersey Road #BrentfordB 1 #SaintsU23 2 - a goal from @EdoborJarvis set things in motion but the away side fought back to claim the victory
I think if he goes out on loan, it needs to be in the Championship. I’d be interested to hear or know what the situation with Hesketh is. I’m baffled a bit as he seems to have so much ability and for three years I’ve thought he’d make the break through. Injuries clearly delayed that but he doesn’t even seem to be considered for he squad. I wonder if it is a psychological thing and the coaches don’t think he’s got the character to deal with the pressure of the game. They’re must be something because he seems to have everything else.
From watching him in the u23s he does seem to have a bit of a temper. He gets kicked a lot because he is a skillful player, but often lashes out, but that should just be a maturing thing. Think he could handle the championship, but would be concerned that he would not be given the patience to play regularly
https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018-08-10/danny-butterfield-saints-under-18s-1819 Bit of a surprise, having just been promoted to lead U18 coach. Shame really, he was starting to get good results with the academy.
Yes, however first team coaching is where he’d want to be. Sounds like a good move for him and a decent club in that league. Good luck Butters and if you’re reading this and fancy a beer...
https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018-08-10/preview-yan-valery-under-23s-saints-middlesbrough Valery looking forward to U23 season..hoping to benefit from his time with the senior team in China.
Not that I was expecting him to be, but Sims not close to first team squad as it stands Will be interesting to see who we put out on loan
Was she pointing at players and pressing a calculator? “He’s good, probably go for £10m next season, so 20% of that is..... mmmm ... oh bugger, I’ll ask Beddy”
