It all depends. In reality it could complete tomorrow but be held back by other formalities such as his full-day medical tests.

Sometimes takes two days. Then they have to prepare the other stuff re: media and press releases.

As I said with Yoshida last summer, he signed two days before the formal announcement was made.

We played a blinder there, told him he had a dodgy foot and sent him home. He was adamant he was fine, first week of pre-season for Bristol City and he pulls up with an unexplained foot injury that kept him out for 4 months.

Was his ankle. By all accounts it was a glass ankle and Adkins was not keen on that whatsoever.

We landed Hooiveld instead for a fee that was marginally less I believe. Good business.
