We all know how these rumours start...wish he would sack his agents... heard he may sack his agents...oh. he's sacked his agents. He may reasonably be annoyed if he has missed out on two PL clubs because of his agents demands...more likely to ask them to reduce their demands than to sack them.

I think footballers do drop their agents more often than we realize, but I'm just being very optimistic with this one. If he's sacked his agents then I see no reason why it wouldn't be so he could join Saints, but there's a very good chance that story's bullcrap.

Still wonder if Cardiff really have that kind of money to be throwing around.

Yeah, yeah I know Saints did it as well but at least we knew we had at least some backing by the Liebherrs and there was at least somewhat an air of legitimacy around it all. Cardiff are hemorrhaging cash and already have a large debt, but all we hear is how some Malaysian investor types are pumping in cash.

They have a lot of debt but they won't be haemorrhaging cash in the premier league, and the Malaysians seem keen to spend. So yeah, they do have that kind of money to throw around.

Well Cardiff's debts have been estimated at £80m so not quite, but it means they would have to spend a hell of a lot to add to it.
