Good article DTLW, very accurate.
Does anyone else feel a bit more positive about this deal going through than they were.
This is pure conjecture but from all we've heard I'm wondering if Wanyama was keen to accept our offer but was convinced by his agents that if he released that statement and bided his time we would come running.
In recent days we've had unconfirmed reports that he has sacked his agents, now his dad has said a decision will be made imminently after giving his son some advice.
Still clutching at straws a bit I know but it seems to me that if the club did not come 'running' with an improved offer and in fact appeared to move on to other targets that Victor may well have become upset with his agents and is now prepared to accept our original terms.
This theory although seemingly plucked from thin air does tie in with most of the snippets of info we have received, remember Nixon originally said all parties were keen on a deal and Wanyama himself came back from holiday.
Anyway only time will tell but I for one am quietly confident this thread may have a happy conclusion.
