Its just a combination of 3 seperate stories we've been hearing over the weekend.

Wanyama is the only one of those 3 I think we have a chance of getting in all honesty

triple post...? Why cant we offer an attractive offer for Wanyama but we can to Nainggolan?

One of the many things setting off bullshit detectors. Unless it's like FM where you offer one player extortionate wages and can't offer anyone else more than minimum wage until the original offer gets rejected.

I think we're all worrying too much, we've had no decent sources tell us Wanyama is off where as we've had a fair few reputable sources tell us it's still on. Just remember the Ramirez saga, sit back and relax.

QUOTES FROM WANYAMA:

"My manager Neil Lennon told me of Southampton's offer but while the bid was okay for Celtic, the terms were not right for myself and my agent. I am open to what offers are made but I am relaxed and it's important Celtic are happy too."

"My agent and I have been together a very long time and we are like family. We have a very good relationship. He has helped me since I was a young man and there is a lot of trust between us. I know he will help me make the right decision over the next few weeks."

"This is a very important move for me if it happens. I've had two very important seasons at Celtic and I've had the opportunity to play in some very big games and with some talented players. My dream, like any young footballer, is to play in the Premier League and maybe that is the next step for me."

"It's important for me that a club shows ambition and that I can play an important part in those ambitions. At my age I want to play as much as I can. I want to play week in, week out."

I think Wanyama is still just as likely to sign as he has been for the last few days. The other two deals seem dead but our midfield is already pretty good and Osvaldo seems like a nutjob so it's not the end of the world.

EDIT: Hadn't seen DTLW's posts. Looking less likely. Oh well, the midfield comment above still stands

Very curious what the wages are that Cardiff is willing to meet and we aren't.

Edit: on re-read, it's probably that we're willing to meet his terms...but not willing to pay massive agent fees.

Everything that is wrong with football right there. For what it's worth I still reckon he will sign.

Sack your flippin agent and sign the contract.

I can't see him staying at Celtic. So it's about whether he is expecting a better offer to come in. If it goes through great, if we get trumped by a Europa/Champs club, I can live with that.

Looking like it's a greedy agent again, wonder where this has happened before.
