If he stays, I don't think we are going to win another game. Why add expensive 29 ex players to an already dangerous relegation. That's all I'm saying. Its my opinion. I have no faith in MP.

Interesting as I’m the complete opposite. If he stays I think we need a couple of “his” players in to help him out. But if he goes I’d back a different manager to get enough with the current squad to stay up so would be fine with no signings

What have you seen that I haven't?
When we beat Palace they were the better team. We beat WBA because of a piece of magic. Everton downed tools. Very lucky pen v's WHU.
Some good defensive displays when up against some of the best teams, but never looking like winning. I have seen nothing to suggest this guy is half decent. And he is to blame for that.

I am not saying I want him to stay but IF he does we need to back him financially as he isn’t getting enough out of this group to stay up

Think back two months. He had a whole squad to choose from. Was it any different? It really wasn't. We are lacking, but we should still be able to hold our own against a few teams. We score, we sit back, we invite pressure, we don't learn. I just cannot see that changing. I won't bang on though, as I don't want to annoy people. Lets let the cup wash it away today.

It is unfair on the bloke to keep him in post. There was stress and anger about him in the last press conference and he was looking tired and drawn. He isn't sleeping and the pressure will make him unwell. Add to that he will have a barrage of rude and insulting chants and boos from the morons at the next home game.

It is the duty of his employers to remove him from this stressful and health damaging situation.

He can walk away at any point. He won’t because he will want compensation.

Out of interest how would everyone react if we bought nobody?
Well I would probably stay off here for a few days for starters.

Then I would have a bit of a rant about how the board deliberately didn't sign anyone, threaten to shred my season ticket and have a hissy fit, whilst calling Les, Ralph and our new owners a variety of different terms for both male and female genitalia. In the same post.

Well, I wouldn't want to feel left out now, would I?

We need to sign someone whether we sack Pellegrino or not.

If we sack Pellegrino, it would probably help us hire someone as well as make the transition easier if they can bring in a couple players they like.

If we don't sack Pellegrino, then we are in effect saying the manager is not the problem. If the problem isn't the managers, then it's the players so then we need to sign some players to fix that.

Also, regardless of the need to support the manager, the team is not good and needs reinforcements badly. And we have tons of cash. If you're not going to spend now, then when?

We not only need to buy 1-2 players this window, we'll need another 2-3 this summer, plus a few for the academy/young players with potential that can be bled in as backups next season.
