I am very, very happy with this!!

I always sign him in FM/FIFA for saints and he blossoms into a great player... He is still young enough to improve, and is already a solid, solid CM. He has similar attributes to Morgan, keeps things simple on the ball.
This could turn into an absolute steal. It's also exactly what we need - cover for Vic. Chuffed.

I'm no sure it is cover; remember we played Vic and Morgan whenever we could over the last couple of seasons... I think we'll see them playing together a lot.

Good point. I was assuming clasie-vic behind davis would be this season's three.
This gives us serious options now though, with Reed and JWP still available too.

AS Tom mentioned above, I believe Clasie will sit in front of those two, charging up and down like an obsessed Dutch lunatic who has had his favourite Clogs stolen and he is determined to track and chase anyone who may have them.

If we sign Van Dijk, we will have a CB who can also play DM playing behind Romeu, who is a DM who can also play CB. I love the thought of the extra flexibility this will give us.

O Romeu, Romeu! Wherefore art thou Romeu?
Deny thy manager and sign thy name.
Or, if thou wilt not, be but worth our fee,
And You’ll no longer be a Chelsea player.

Apologies to Bill Shakespeare

Not a great deal of first team games under his belt to suggest he'll be a starter/straight Morgan replacement. But I remember his Chelsea games well, and at a fee of around £4-5m, it's low risk and also promising. The right age for some Koeching, and will surely demonstrate hunger to make it as a regular starter. With Cork and Bertrand turning out as they did, I'll always welcome a Chelsea reject with open arms.
Yep, always welcome a Chelsea reject, David Speedie, Kerry Dixon erm oooh, arghh
