I don’t understand why Harry Kane isn't on there. You must log in or register to see media
On Jul 18th, you stated in the Joelinton thread:
"**** Ameobi" and "Gouffran looked better on youtube"
"This guy isnt as good as rondon. Cheap option"
"This player looks turd"
"This player looks crap"
I mean, you've said plenty the only signing we have made is ****ing ****e.
Now, all those statements are wrong, as statistically Joelinton has a better record than Rondon did last season in less game time - so evidence is there, he would an upgrade.
Of course it's a factual statement, as is humans can't survive without oxygen. It's a mute point, it's obvious, you're tacitly putting down the signings because they've only just signed. I understand your point, I'm just failing to see why you're even making it.
What are you on about
Where have i indicated that theyre ****e ?? Please show me ?? Show me where i questioned the business side too ? Btw i have zero interest in that aspect as a fan of football might i add.
You have failed to understand my point and then insinuated ive said things i have not ?
My point stands until they show me they are better i cant say we are better off . Its not rocket science its a factual statement based on the evidence i have available to me... id have prefered to have kept rondon also whats stupid about that ? We know he can cut it .
Much like another great in christopher columbus I find it highly frustrating trying to demonstrate facts in the face of laughter time and time again.
Remind me whos our manager ?
You cannot be serious .
Bruce is a local lad, he gets the club, he gets us and he understands what the club means to us and i've got no doubt he will have the lads fired up for every game, more so the ones at home. Who's to say that he's not the man to make Ashley realise what a potential gold-mine he is sitting on and finally take this club forward ove the next 3-5 years?
You have just described Carver.
Seriously though I agree with your point. Firstly, team wise let's see where we stand when the window shuts and then decide if the team/squad looks stronger or weaker. Secondly, allow the new players some time to settle in before deciding whether they can play or not and if the team/squad is better or worse than last season. Thirdly, give Bruce some time for him to show whether he can or can't do the job.
But you have no point, that's the thing you fail to grasp. Until you have seen them play you can't say either way whether they are **** or not, you have no evidence to base any judgement on either way on any new players we bring in. Come back at Christmas and by all means voice your opinions on our new signings, but even then it's probably too early to tell.
Secondly, the transfer window hasn't shut yet, so currently yes we are worse off as a squad, but not by much I would say currently. A mis-firing (more often than not) Perez and Rondon who took half a season to get going are the main outgoings, I don't think we're missing a great deal there if I'm honest. I'm not worried in the slightest, we will bring at least one more player in, probably two...any more will be a bonus I think.
As for being worse off from a coaching aspect, i don't think you need me to tell you that that's a ridiculous statement to make as well, especially as the season hasn't even started yet. I'm by no means suggesting we are gonna be ripping the league up but you're not really giving anybody a chance to prove themselves either way which is just plain stupid in my opinion. The football under rafa at times was mind-numbingly boring and some of his tactical decisions were just plain crazy so despite the Rafa love in he wasn't all that in my opinion. I'm not knocking Rafa here, I really like the bloke and he did a good job, it was hardly exciting to watch though was it? I can't remember too many games where we came away thinking we absolutely battered the opposition. The Everton and Liverpool games last season spring to my mind as being two of the best matches I've watched in a very long time..I'm not saying I want that every week, i'm sure we'd all love it but I want it more than i've seen it previously.

Until I've seen otherwise I'll reserve judgement on all of our players, current and and new along with our manager and backroom staff.
Looks like Milan have come in for him
Wrong mate i was refering to a player we havent signed but its fairly obvious i was having a giggle.. totally different thread. Im making the point because its valid .
We are a weaker side and have poorer coaches ! Im right.
I am happy with our signing ? Yes , but im reserving full judgement until hes shown me he can do it ... im being sensible !
This is the problem with you lot .... deluded !!! Tell yourself everything is great just because you cant accept reality.
Im entitled to my opinion even if you dont agree ... youll say anything you dont agree with is a wum.
Dont be belligerent
Have a nice day
I rest my case.
You are strawmanning my argument, I didn't accuse you of wumming nor am I saying those players are guaranteed hits.
I'm saying, you're obviously correct because it's a nonstarter completely obvious statement. There's zero point, but you keep bashing us with it.
You're purely a contrarian in my opinion.

And who said it was impossible to muddy the waters any further than they already are.....None of this is even relevent to my point ..if anything it is my point

Second post much clearer and precise than first post. 8 OUT OF 10. Santa needs to listen to Groot more often in class. All i said was is were weaker at this time than last season ! Weve lost 3 players, bought 1 and replaced a world class manager with a lower league manager... i dont think im wrong. It might change if we get 3 or 4 more in but until then i think im right.
