Does it matter though? Perez wanted to leave even when Rafa was there. Rondon was never gonna turn down China money. The pair are old news and were not an option for us. We've signed one and appear to still want to replace the other. I can't see why people have a problem with it.
One wasn't our player and the other wanted out. All you can do is replace them. I think we've replaced Rondon with a better player. I think Almiron will be pushed into the Perez type role and will be better than him at it. I think our strikeforce will be better personally. If we add another I think we will be quite a bit better to be honest. Perez and Rondon weren't that good until put together. It just worked. As it wasn't an option to retain that strikeforce you have to move on. My ideal would still be Josef Martinez - Almiron's old mucker at Atlanta who he had a telepathic understanding with.
Regardless all we needed to do was keep rondon for 16million and buy an additional striker. This guy could well be turd aling with this french dribbler that cant play football.
Rondon only worked because of Perez who wanted to leave. Rondon would just go back to the stamp of the rest of his career without Perez. Which is pretty average 1 in 3 type stuff (1 in 4 in England) I've said it all along. Our fans getting pissy about Rondon and Perez is silly. They did well but lets not pretend we had world beaters there. Very replaceable and I think Joelinton will wipe the floor with them on the little I've seen.
1 in 3 is good enough ... didnt you pick rivierre in your dream team when we signed him? My point is that what you think and what you knoe are totally different... if we had rondon and bought joelinton thats progress , but were simply twisting playing 21s. Weve lost 20 goals and two proven players and gained 1 ... so were worse until proven otherwise .... its also worth mentioning that we have a worse manager and coaching team, so every player bar the likes of the useles shelvey lost an inch overnight .
Riviere? No I think you've been looking at your old posts mate. He was always ****. Joelinton is going to make you look silly mate. Get on board the Brazilian Love Train asap or you'll be left at the station with the rest of the moaners.
Im simply right Id rather still have rondon and perez and bought joelinton than. Weve currently gone backwards both in player and coaching staff.
Nah we've done well to upgrade Rondon. If we can upgrade Perez we will be sound. This other brazilians club are struggling for cash. The might take 10m supposedly. Imagine if we spend 50m replacing Rondon and Perez with better players while recouping 30m of the money. Its a Levy style masterstroke. Maronny pisses all over Perez.
I have been told many things , but seldom is it worth listening too. The evidence wont exist until after the full season. Im simply saying until these guys show me they can do it id rather have rondon and perez.
Would you ever approve signings if you were the chairman? You could conceivably make such a flaccid and useless point about any player in the league or in the world. I know you are just a wind up artist most of the time, but making a point as "well, he is gonna be ****ing ****e until I see he is infact a good player" isn't a point, it isn't a prediction and it isn't anything you're right about. I understand your core point, selling a player is conceivably weakening yourself but at the same time... Perez had his buyout hit and Rondon was not our player and is getting old. I would rather just wave goodbye to Rondon and look at a younger option, we have done exactly that... in pretty quick time. If we sign Maxim we have sold two players and replaced them with younger players who have bags more potential than either. That IS good business. Now, could they transition poorly to the league? Yes. But that is the risk you run in signing players, pointing that out and saying they're simply **** and you don't think they're good until they are visibly good is just a waste of energy typing. Everyone knows that and everyone thinks it.
What are you on about Where have i indicated that theyre ****e ?? Please show me ?? Show me where i questioned the business side too ? Btw i have zero interest in that aspect as a fan of football might i add. You have failed to understand my point and then insinuated ive said things i have not ? My point stands until they show me they are better i cant say we are better off . Its not rocket science its a factual statement based on the evidence i have available to me... id have prefered to have kept rondon also whats stupid about that ? We know he can cut it . Much like another great in christopher columbus I find it highly frustrating trying to demonstrate facts in the face of laughter time and time again. Remind me whos our manager ? You cannot be serious .
On Jul 18th, you stated in the Joelinton thread: "**** Ameobi" and "Gouffran looked better on youtube" "This guy isnt as good as rondon. Cheap option" "This player looks turd" "This player looks crap" I mean, you've said plenty the only signing we have made is ****ing ****e. Now, all those statements are wrong, as statistically Joelinton has a better record than Rondon did last season in less game time - so evidence is there, he would an upgrade. Of course it's a factual statement, as is humans can't survive without oxygen. It's a mute point, it's obvious, you're tacitly putting down the signings because they've only just signed. I understand your point, I'm just failing to see why you're even making it.
