We’ll see. Would’ve thought staying in the north west and most likely more money at a bigger club would be enough to persuade him to go to Everton
You assume Everton will offer him more then. Seems like a week argument personally. I take the staying in thr North part, players tend to not worry about location much these days though.
I don't really see how he would have any impact on James Garner's decision? I can see for 16 year olds but at 21 isnt a youth player.
If I were him it wouldn't make any difference to me - it would be things like, wages, game time, club prospects, style of play etc that influence my decision. Not who their chief scout is.
I doubt James Garner is the only player linked to Everton at the moment. Joao Pedro is linked. Probably half a dozen others.

Which is probably why they are rumoured to want an incoming loan from Chelsea as part of the deal
The rumour with Leicester and Fofana was that even if he went for 80m, Brendan would get half. I wonder if it is similar with Everton
I thought Pedro was done deal to Newcastle? Clearly not . A rare case of Fab going early and maybe not being right ? Unless they get him and Isak. So much for the reports that they wanted to use Wilson as their 9. Perhaps it is a case of they didn’t expect Isak to be available.
Just like, if true, we are in for Garner despite it not being a priority position because we didn’t expect him to be available
