Big shame that. But, obviously never seen him play and only going on what I’ve read on fan forums etc.

I’ve got complete faith now in our recruitment team. If they feel he isn’t worth outbidding Everton for, then that’s fine with me.

But we desperately need a CM.

There hasn’t been any recent links to other CMs in the press, so will be interested to see what we do. £15mil+ would’ve been a lot. Maybe a loan deal to be had somewhere?
 
Tbf to Diallo, he had a really good game last night. I still think we need a CM with Romeu going, but I was pleasantly surprised with Diallo's performance. He's put in good displays before though, then fallen off. Hopefully he can find some consistency, as he'll get chances now Lavia's injured.
